The Company closed that I mentioned did not close a station house that had not already been closed. The station they were responding from remains &quot;open&quot; but their old quarters had been condemned some time ago.  They remained in service at another house because of a unique set of skills those members were trained for.  They are now scattered and other companies in the area are receiving the specialized training.

Just wanted to make sure my post was clear about the company closing.  The engine, not the house.  However 2 of the 5 remaining on the chopping block are single engine houses.
