Yeah….I am one of those guys who still can’t get over the use of 3/4 boots, but it works for them so be it. I am also not a fan of long coats for dexterity reasons.

Fire was 3yrs ago, and it looks like CFD awarded a contract to put everyone in turnout gear that same year. I am fairly positive that they are no longer allowed to wear the cool old gear. I am planning a walking tour the end of Jan/beginning of Feb of some station houses. I'll ask then.

No worries, FC. Being nearby to Chi-town, I keep an eye towards that stuff. The date of the video had only been posted within hours of me checking on it.
