Granville Firefighters Battle Well Involved House Fire in Maidsville.

On November 12th around 4am, Granville (WV) firefighters responded to a house fire in Maidsville.

Granville, Star City, Westover, Cassville, and Mount Morris (PA) departments responded to the fire.

There were no injuries and the fire is being investigated by the WV State Fire Marshal’s office.

This is a perfect example of the need for use of 2 1/2″ hose instead of 1 3/4″. Although the report says they had early water supply issues so it might not have been a feasible option.
