Early Video: Jacksonville House Destroyed by Fire in Bartram Springs. 39+ House Fires in 3 weeks

December 27, 2010 – JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Firefighters with the Jacksonville Fire/Rescue Department are on the scene of a house fire in the Bartram Springs.

The fire broke out shortly before 3 p.m. Monday.

A man in the house heard the smoke detector go off. When he went upstairs to investigate, he found the heating unit engulfed in flames.

This fire comes 2 days after a story on Christmas day on how Jacksonville has had 39 house fires in the past 3 weeks (link).
