Some issues i am wondering about (german fire fighter):
- where’s the water at the end of the video??
- the crew is nearly all the time in the middle of a potential flash over area – the risk is quite high (strong dark smoke, must be very hot – you can see the smoke rising very quickly..
- some smoke cooling (with spray jet) would lower this risk
- crew members w/o protection acting in front of the fire (open jacket, no helmet lol)
- why don’t the just pull this shit out of the garage? it seems the main problem is they can’t reach the fire
what ya think?
I see this all the time in videos: structures needlessly lost because, for some inexplicable reason, firefighters with hose-pressure lounge around not *doing* anything.
