Why doesn’t someone tell this guy to put on full PPE, and that there is no need for him to be that close to the fire?
Obviously these guys have their hands full. I don’t see a tanker shuttle, but I am guessing they have one going on.
All in all, the did a pretty good job without the benefit of foam. Except for THAT GUY…

Just a few minutes after 930AM Liberty, Blossburg, Morris, Mansfield and Wellsboro fire departments were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. Black smoke could be seen for miles as firemen headed South on the new Rt 15 highway. Both Southbound and Northbound lanes of traffice were closed down. All traffice was directed to old route 15 as firemen battled the stubborn fire. Billowing flames were traveling approxiamately 200 feet or more into the air as fire trucks arrived on scene.
Later in the afternoon traffic was open for vehicles traveling South While the all North bound traffic was still being detored at the Blossburg Exit to take the old Rt 15 towards Williamsport.
if you watch this on youtube the poster has disabled the comments because he believes that there is nothing wrong with how this incident was handeled. He gave statter’s posters a toung lashing over vapid comments THAT NEEDED TO BE SAID because this could have been a disaster. His passion for his opinion about the fire department is grand but misplaced. THEY NEED training on how to correctky handle this type of incident and thats the truth LONNIE!
And if you cant accept that STOP POSTING THEM ON YOUTUBE because when you do you INVITE THE OPINIONS OF EVERY FIREFIGHTER IN THE WORLD and they can be pretty direct. we are not in the “make you feel good” business we use videos like this to learn what not to do and pass it on and believe me you will be seeing this in seminars from time to time just like some big cities who have mess up some incidents
