Philadelphia 4 Alarm Mummer Warehouse Fire
Four Alarm Fire in South Philadelphia 2nd St and Wharton St. The Building was the warehouse for the Mummers Club Fralinger. B/C-1 had heavy fire through out the two story building, 100×100. Companies were ordered out of the building and went in to am exterior attack.
Detroit, Michigan Vacant Apartment Fire 12/7/12
Companies arriving found fire on the second floor of a vacant apartment building at the corner of Army St. and N. Green Avenue on December 7th, 2012. The fire quickly spread to the rest of the building and was fought in defensive mode. No damage to nearby occupied houses. The two story apartment building had been vacant for several years.
Detroit, Michigan Commercial Fire
At approximately 9:10PM on December 9th, 2012, companies of the 7th battalion were called to a vacant commercial building at 880 Lawndale Street in southwest Detroit and found the warehouse fully involved. The fire was fought defensively with two aerial platforms and brought under control within an hour.
Garretson, California House Fire 12/10/12

Vernon, California 2 Alarm Warehouse Fire 12/9/12
12-9-2012 It took Vernon, California Firefighters over two hours to control a large blaze that ran through a half block-long warehouse complex near the intersections of 49th Street and Santa Fe Avenue in the City of Vernon. Mutual aid companies included Santa Fe Springs, Downey, Compton and L.A. County Fire Departments. Firefighters and Vernon Police evacuated several nearby buildings close to the fully involved complex. Firefighters went to work protecting several nearby exposures with Ladder Pipes, Monitors and numerous hand-lines. Smoke from the fire could be seen throughout the city. Firefighters remained on-scene for several hours later knocking down hot spots. The cause of the evening blaze is under investigation.
