Video by: Elginet. Video info: April 18, 2015 (This video is NOT for media use!) According to a neighbor, a resident living at this $2M home in Barrington Hills accidentally set this blaze doing yardwork. Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District went from a 1st level box alarm quickly to a 5th to keep water coming in. There are NO fire hydrants in this neighborhood making fighting a fire like this, extremely problematic. There were 4 tanks set up to hold water that the engines and trucks could draw from, as though they were fire hydrants. The problem being, they go through a lot of water, really quick. Each one of those tanks only holds 3000 gallons of water, which one truck can exhaust in a minute or 2.
