Submitting a Blog

How do I contribute to the First Due Blog Carnival?

Once a blog edition is announced here, simply follow any directions posted by the host of the blog carnival for a given month. Once you have written your post and published it within the dates given by the host submit your link to the host. The host will then publish the First Due Blog Carnival for that month with your link and information contained within.

Can anyone participate with the First Due Blog Carnival?

Yes…just stay on the topic please!

Do I have to host the First Due Blog Carnival to participate?

You do not have to host the carnival to participate. However, it is beneficial for traffic to your blog. If you just feel like submitting your content that is fine.

Do I have to have a blog to participate?

No, however you will have to find a blog who will post your content for submission.

I am very new to the “carnival” thing. Here's a submission and I'm interested, but probably need to follow it first and see what is required to do this (since I have no time left right now anyway).

    Thanks Rhett -

Based on the great topic you've chosen — I'd really like to link the submissions to my online collection of stories at: http://www.runtothecurb.com. These are just the type of stories I'm looking for — including yours. (Hint-Hint!)

Let's talk about how to best create and maintain that connection. Thanks.

I'd like to submit our blog, http://www.firescaping.org. Here's a recent post we put up about Fire Hazard Severity Zone Mapping (a California initiative dividing the state's SRA areas into hazard zones): http://www.firescaping.org/blog/?p=11

Maybe I missed what the topic would be for this First Due Blog Carnival? Or is that posted elsewhere?
