Video: The Hibernian Pub Burns in Raleigh, NC

Updated with more video:

Jeff Harkey (FireNews.net) and Mike Legeros (Legeros Fire Blog) were on scene of a fire in Raleigh this morning. The alarm came in at 10:25 am this morning for The Hibernian Bar located at 311 Glenwood Avenue. The fire would go to 2 alarms. Legeros has the run card and more photos here.

I will update as more information is available.

House Fire Video – Princeton North Carolina

This house fire was reported on the Raleigh/Wake Firefighting Blog recently. The fire now has video to go with it on youtube. Firefighters definitely had their hands full on this fire.

The 2,900-square-foot home was listed for sale for approximately $239,900 on the National Association of Realtors’ Web site. The property was first listed for sale in October 2008.

The Fire Critic says hmmmmmmm. House for sale for a while and then burns…..interesting. This report states it is a “suspicious” fire.

Tiller Ladder Truck Overturns in Raleigh NC

This morning around 10:50am, a tiller ladder truck overturned in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Three of the four firefighters on the rig were injured, two being in serious condition.

The wreck happened at about 10:50 a.m. at the intersection of Dawson and West South streets. Dawson Street was closed at Lenoir Street for more than an hour following the wreck. Read the entire report at WRAL.com.
